Ideal for families, located in a quiet neighborhood on a side street. Stroll 0.33 miles (7 minutes walk) to the beautiful Pleasant Road Beach, with restrooms and parking (for extra fees). With soft white sand, friendly ocean air and the warm waters of Nantucket Sound, it is regarded as one the best family beaches on the Cape. The house is centrally located and minutes from all essentials of an ideal Cape Cod vacation-shopping, dining, fishing, close to the bike trail, houses of worship. NO pets NO smoking, prefer mix of adults and children. Sleeps 8--one queen bedroom with bathroom, three twin rooms. Wireless internet. Most rooms have ceiling fans. No A/C. Has a Gas grill. The house is much larger inside than the photos show. $2200 dates starting 7/6/2024. Parking for 4 cars maximum. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturdays, check in 3 PM to allow a safe amount of time between guests and the professional house cleaning disinfecting.

Why this property? after vacationing ourselves many years at the Cape, we wanted a home that was a short walk to the family beach, a open house ranch with no stairs, a large large and close to shopping

This is a very family and kid friendly cottage in a quiet neighborhood with lots of space to spread out. It was bigger inside than we expected. We were very comfortable with the 4 bedrooms and large main room and the sun porch. The kitchen was not shown, so I asked David to send me some pictures and he did promptly. The cottage really had everything we needed. Plenty of dishes and kitchenware. There were ceiling fans everywhere and fans in each bedroom closet (No AC). We appreciated having two bathrooms (each with a shower) and an outdoor shower as well. The warm water beach at the end of the road is really nice. It has lifeguards and the beach is occupied mostly by families. We went to many attractions in the area - Pirate Cruise, Seal Cruise, Water Park, Kayaking at Swan River Boats, Mayflower Beach (after 4:30 parking is free) to have a picnic dinner and watch the sunset. There were plenty of stores and restaurants a short drive away from the cottage as well. David was great. He answered any questions we had during the week very quickly. We had a 5 star vacation. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because it is an older cottage - a bit dated inside - but totally comfortable. A total Cape Cod experience!
