This 9-bedroom home sleeps 19 on 2 levels with 3 1/2 baths and 2 outdoor showers. The large kitchen is fully applianced with a butler's pantry with a wine refrigerator, sink and a second full size refrigerator adjoining a separate formal dining room. The fireplaced 28' x 14' living room is truly a ''great room'' with 3 French doors leading to a 28' x 16' foot veranda overlooking the salt marshes, Monomoy Island, and the sparkling waters of Nantucket Sound. There are 2 decks overlooking well-manicured lawns ideal for games, cookouts, and fun gatherings. Forest Beach is a short walk and the parking is free! There are sand dunes, and the beach winds along the shore for several hundred yards, making for fun walks and chances to get away from everyone. Great spot for a sailing a sunfish or paddling through the inlets. Tennis courts and a playground are within a short walking distance.

We celebrated my Mom’s 80th birthday with our family at the Gatsby home. It was a perfect house to celebrate with the whole family. The grounds are breathtaking and you can walk to the beach. The caretaker was so kind, helpful and always available for recommendations and questions. My Mom said when we got home she was “still feeling the magic”

What a wonderful time we had, again, at the Gatsby. This time our family gathered for a Celebration of Life for a dear family member. We celebrated indoors on Saturday because of rain but easily squeezed 40 people into the living and dining rooms. It was terrific and very moving. We were so pleased to have Max Cohen, a local musician extraordinare, provide music and singing for our occasion. We filled the 19 beds and partied into the night. The sun shone the next day so folks could get outside and enjoy the huge yard and walking on the trails and on the nearby beautiful beaches. Don't miss this place if you have a large gathering. Chris, our caretaker, was on top of things and very friendly and helpful.

14 ADULTS, 2 TODDLERS, AND 2 INFANTS SPENT A LOVELY WEEK AT OUR GREAT GATSBY BEFORE CELEBRATING OUR SON'S MID-AUGUST WEDDING IN CHATHAM. THE HOME AND GROUNDS WERE SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE, WITH PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITY TO SPREAD OUT INDIVIDUALLY OR GATHER AND VISIT AS A GROUP. CARVER WAS A VERY OUTGOING AND ACCOMMODATING CARETAKER WHO WAS ALSO A WONDERFUL RESOURCE FOR INFORMATION AND SUPPORT. WE ALL AGREED THAT OUR EXPANSIVE ACCOMMODATIONS HELPED MAKE THE REASON FOR OUR STAY AN EXTRA SPECIAL FAMILY EVENT.

Mary F.A fabulous week with family
This was our third summer renting a week's stay at the great Gatsby. It truly is a magical place. We use the home as a gathering place for our family who come from near and far. The cousins range in age from 10 to 21 and our Cape week is the highlight of the year. The home is fully equipped and met all of our needs. The yard is fantastic and afforded the children countless opportunities to play every game imaginable. The beach is right down the street. And best of all the caretaker - Carver - is on sight and is always available to meet any needs you may have. We are already looking forward to our stay next year!
