Shell collecting
Loop Beach is the favored swimming beach with lifeguards and bathrooms. You can walk along the beach or drive to Oregon Beach, to the end of Main Street. Oregon Beach is great for shell collecting, fishing, and watching the sun rise. On a clear day, you may be able to see Martha's Vineyard across the Bay! Riley's Beach is smaller, but a great spot to put a kayak in to paddle to Sampson's Island. Rope's Beach has a nice beach for younger kids and it is fun to watch others taking sail boating lessons. At low tide, you can walk to the left of the beach up to the point. So peaceful!
