Uncle Freeman's Guest Cottage

Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, this West Dennis cottage is just 1/10th of a mile to the beautiful and picturesque Bass River. Comfortable and convenient, this air-conditioned cottage is a wonderful vacation destination for a couple of empty nesters looking for a quiet Cape escape in an idyllic setting. Relax on the screen porch and watch the boats being trailered to and from the launch, or take a stroll with your coffee to sip and watch them on the river. The perfect place to call home while you vacation on Cape Cod.

The cottage is tastefully decorated and features a galley kitchen with basic cookware - dishes, pots, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, full size refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave. There’s a dining table and chairs for two in the living and dining area with a smart TV w/ Wi-Fi (no cable). An attached screened porch with wicker furniture provides additional space and a cool and breezy spot for al fresco dining or to enjoy a good book. There is a side deck with dining table, umbrella and chairs. A shady fenced side yard to simply relax or enjoy an afternoon nap in the fresh air. A comfortable queen-size bed (guests bring their own bed linen and towels), air-conditioning and a private bathroom with tiled step-in shower complete the cottage.

Please Note: This is a 2-bedroom cottage. Rental of the cottage includes the exclusive use of the front bedroom with a queen bed. The other bedroom is excluded from rental use/occupancy of the cottage; it will be unoccupied and locked during the rental period.

(Please Note: There is no on-street parking permitted on Uncle Freemans Rd).

The cottage is located less than ¾ mile from the Freedom Boat Club, less than one mile to the West Dennis Yacht Club, just under one mile to beautiful West Dennis Beach, and less than 300 ft. to the public landing on the Bass River at Uncle Freemans Road – a leisurely walk from the cottage to watch the West Dennis sunsets.
