About the owner: I purchased the house from my mother's best friend. The previous owner's family owned the land around Upper Mill Pond dating back to the Mayflower. This was the last partial of land and she built her dream home. It was love at first site when I saw the property and everyone who has stayed here says this is a very special property. The house sits on Upper Mill Pond and Canoe Pond. It's secluded and I keep the property in pristine condition. The gardens are beautiful and I make sure that the renters can call me anytime day or night. I want a vacation to be memorable and special.

Why this property? This is one of the most special spots on the Cape. Most of the renters return and many never go anywhere off property. Everything is there for comfort and convenience.

Almost Heaven….

Our family (of 14) spent a week in this beautiful home at the end of May. It truly is a special place in many ways. The home is comfortable, spacious and has everything you need to feel at home. The property sits on a slope overlooking Upper Mill Pond (actually a very large lake) with a spectacular view! We played wiffle ball on the lawn with the kids most nights then sat out on the deck to watch the moon rise over the lake. It’s so quiet and peaceful. We used many of the home’s amenities, including the canoes and kayaks. The water is pristine and the fishing was good. We were tempted to go swimming but it was a little too early in the season for that, surely our loss.We prepared most of our meals in the very large and well appointed kitchen that had everything a cook could possibly need. Our family owned a home on the Cape for 30 years so we’re pretty familiar with the area. The home is perfectly located, only a short drive to all the old “haunts” we enjoyed as kids, many of which we were happy to see are still in business. This home and property is very special, truly. We hope to return again. Our thanks to the owner for sharing with us.

Great Family Stay

This was our first stay at the property and we had a great time. The house was well stocked. Kitchen was well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Communication with the owner was great. We had a blast. The pond was fun to kayak and canoe on. Evening meals for 14 were easy in the large eat-in kitchen dining area. The sun room was great in the morning. Recommend this to anyone who is getting a largish clan together. A five out of five week for us.
