3000 sq. ft. The Fiddler Crab Cove House is our waterfront home with a private heated pool and private dock just off Ockway Bay that leads to Popponesset Bay and Nantucket sound - this home is perfect for your summer vacation!
This private waterfront home can host up to twelve and consists of 5 bedrooms (three king beds, six twin beds) with water views. In addition, the home boasts two kitchen areas, two living areas, three full bathrooms, and private decks with outdoor seating. Enjoy the peaceful, private setting on the decks overlooking the pool and water, swim in the heated seasonal pool, kayak in the bay or to the beach (four kayaks provided), or simply enjoy a good book on the private dock overlooking the water.
The home is situated in the private and quiet community of New Seabury. Enjoy all the amenities of the area -- the home is just over 1.5 miles to the quaint Popponesset Marketplace (offering shops, food, ice cream and mini golf), a 5 minute drive to Mashpee Commons (offering shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment), and if you don't want to boat to the beach, the beach is approximately 5 minutes by car. Central A/C, parking for 5 cars, two kayaks provided. Boats may be docked at our private dock with permission from owner.

Pool is open May - September. Pool is heated to 84-degrees at no additional cost in June, July & August. Guests may request pool heat to be turned on in May and September for an additional $50/night.
NO hot tub on property.
Guests need owner permission before docking a boat at our dock (maximum boat length and draft apply per EPA).

Great house and location. A nor-Easter rain storm hit when we arrived and wash out the 4 day visit. But loved the house and survived the storm. Hope to return someday when it’s sunny and warm!

Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. Please note that these times are firm. Other guests will be arriving after your stay, and in order to properly clean and prepare the house for them, we ask that you adhere to the times set forth above so that all parties can enjoy The Fiddler Crab Cove House.
Our home is 100% animal-free. Our son has severe allergies to animal dander that cause extreme rashes on his entire body. For his safety, we NEVER allow animals at this property.
Yes, the primary renter must be at least 28 YEARS OLD to rent this home and stay with the group throughout the entire rental period.
Cancellations must be made in writing via postal mail or email by the RENTER only. If the cancellation is made more than 120 days prior to the ARRIVAL date, the non-refundable 50% deposit paid at the time of booking will be forfeited. If the cancellation is made 120 days or less prior to the ARRIVAL date, the RENTER will be responsible for the total cost of the rental (except the security deposit and cleaning charges) unless the OWNER is able to find another RENTER, in which case the security deposit and a prorated rental cost based on the amount the home is re-rented for, is returned. Online Travel Agency (OTA) service fee refunds are at the discretion of the OTA, not the OWNER.
OWNER does NOT refund for any reason, including but not limited to, weather, transportation issues, health reasons, pandemics, acts of God, or emergencies. As a private Host/OWNER, we offer unique dates in a unique property, and highly recommend purchasing “cancel for any reason” travel insurance that covers travel related reservation and expense risks, including medical (including COVID) cancellations, lodging damages, and other cancellations and relocations. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE RENTER TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR UNFORESEEN CANCELLATIONS.
Two (2) days before your arrival, we will put a $1,000 temporary "hold" (not a charge) on the credit card provided. The hold is released from the card five (5) days after your departure, so long as there is no damage to the home.

There is NO hot tub on property.
We provide bed linens, shower towels, pool toys, beach chairs, and a starter pack of household items (dish soap, hand soap, dishwater pods, paper towels and toilet paper). We also provide a 2-in-1 shampoo + body wash in the bathrooms. Guests should plan to bring their own beach towels, kitchen cooking essentials such as spices, beach gear, laundry detergent, toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, etc.

No parties or events are allowed at this property, and no more than 12 people are permitted on the property at any time.
Yes, a gas grill is available at our property.
Yes, laundry may be done using the washer and dryer located on the lower level of our home.
Parking is limited to 5 vehicles during your stay. No overnight street parking is allowed.
No smoking is allowed! Our property is smoke-free, including the home, wooden decks and pool area.
Guests may bring their own boat, or rent a boat from All Cape Boat Rentals. Rental boats can be delivered directly to our private dock.
The Town of Mashpee enforces their quiet hours between 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
We recommend the following three beach options:
1. South Cape Beach - Mashpee Town Pass (This pass must be purchased at least TWO WEEKS BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL)
A 5-minute drive from our home is the Mashpee Town Beach (located on a separate part of South Cape Beach). Day passes are NOT available, you must purchase a weekly pass at least two weeks before your arrival.
2. South Cape Beach - MA State Park Pass
A 5-minute drive from our home is South Cape Beach - The State Park side. Daily or weekly parking passes are available on site or in advance on the State's website.
3. The Spit (Little Thatcher Island)
Simply head out on your boat or our kayaks to Ockway Bay, go around the point and straight across Popponesset Bay to The Spit. Pull right up on shore for a secluded beach experience! This is actually a peninsula, and is accessible by a 1 mile walk from the house (no parking available).
