Beautiful Oceanfront Home

After year four of renting this peace of paradise, I still said the same thing each and every time I arrived - "I can breathe". Something about the view of the bay, the sand, the flowers and the maintained grass gave me a sense of relief and peace. Our family started renting this house as a way to remember my father in law who had passed away. This was where they landed to retire in the small Monument beach village which is like an old summer movie. A place where neighbors say hello, kids collect crabs and nightly walks were made to the ice cream shop. This home was magical in every sense. Each room with its own character and a kitchen that offered warmth and conversation in the evenings. The porch, the porch, the porch - this is the space where sunsets were watched, laughs were shared and dinners were had. From toasting at the sunset to watching the storms pass over the ocean, this porch was the cozy spot for all to land. After hours of swimming and biking, boating and paddling, this was the place to rest. The view will forever be my most favorite view of any sunset. And this tops sunsets from around the world. I can't begin to share what this home has meant to my family and to my extended family. It has been seating place for friends and family. This home created more memories than I can remember. Treather, Tonia and Bill became family and made their home feel like it was as just as much our home. I hesitated often to write a review as I didn't want to share our secret but it deserves to be shared. It has so much love to give!

Our family has been renting this property from Treather for 4 or 5 years now, and it is always a highlight of the summer.

The location is absolutely perfect. Being on the northern part of the cape, you save so much time and energy not fighting the traffic to get to beautiful Monument Beach. You can day trip anywhere you want to go, and we occasionally do that.

The house itself is an absolute gem. It's an older home that has been cared for over the years, making it full of charm but outfitted with all the amenities you need.

The property is cared for and is stunning while in bloom..... no detail is left unnoticed.

The owner is just the best. If you need ANYTHING at all during your stay, she is always available.

Lastly, that porch! We have spent hours and hours on that porch enjoying time with friends and family, and capturing some of the most amazing sunsets. It's just a slice of paradise.
