Six beach chairs w/fold down visors, beach umbrella, beach barbeque grill, and sand toys are provided.

Basic supplies such as coffee pods, paper towels, tissues, TP, garbage bags, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dish soap and hand soap are all provided to ''get you started.''

Here are a few highlights all within just minutes of the house:
• Scenic Trails: You can walk/hike the Fort Hill trail in Eastham and take in the panoramic ocean views or explore the paths of the Salt Pond area trails including Buttonbush and Nauset Marsh trails. There is also the famous Uncle Tim’s Bridge walk in neighboring Wellfleet, and a number of hiking trails there as well.
• The Cape Cod Rail Trail: This legendary paved trail is a 5-8 minute bike ride away. It can take you to the National Seashore Ocean beaches including Coast Guard Beach, Nauset Light, and Marconi Beach, or you can bike right into the neighboring town of Orleans.
• Super Close Bike Rentals: You don't even need to bring your own gear. There is a bike rental store right on Brackett Road (at 188 Brackett Road) which is less than a mile from the house.

One of our guests' favorite features is our quiet private circular road, where children can safely ride bikes, scooters, and take evening walks with very few cars. It's the perfect place for little ones to gain confidence on two wheels while parents walk alongside.

Just minutes away is Wiley Park, one of Eastham's best parks for families. Set along beautiful Great Pond, Wiley Park features a sandy freshwater beach, calm swimming, an excellent playground, picnic areas, and shaded walking trails. It's an ideal destination for younger children who want to swim, play, and enjoy nature all in one place.

For an afternoon of classic Cape Cod fun, head to Poit's Lighthouse Mini Golf. Kids love the charming lighthouse-themed miniature golf course, while the arcade provides hours of entertainment on rainy afternoons or after dinner. It's a longtime Outer Cape tradition that families return to year after year. And the ice cream there is outstanding!

Back at the cottage, we've stocked a collection of beach toys, buckets, shovels, sand molds, and games so children can spend hours building elaborate sandcastles, digging moats, and discovering the treasures hidden along the shoreline.

Perhaps the greatest adventure of all awaits at Eastham's spectacular Cape Cod Bay beaches. At low tide, the warm, gentle waters reveal enormous tidal flats that stretch well over a mile from shore. Children can safely wander through shallow tidal pools searching for tiny hermit crabs, seashells, minnows, sea stars, and other fascinating marine life while splashing in the warm, calm water. It's a magical natural playground unlike almost anywhere else on the East Coast and one of the experiences that families remember long after their vacation ends.

At low tide, the beach transforms into miles of sun-warmed tidal flats and shallow pools, perfect for long walks, beachcombing, shell collecting, and hours of exploration with children.

If you'd rather drive, nearly everything you'll need during your stay is less than five minutes away. Beautiful bay beaches, local restaurants, seafood markets, coffee shops, bike rentals, playgrounds, Wiley Park, ice cream stands, and grocery stores are all conveniently close by.
