Welcome to our beloved Cape Cod retreat in the quiet, family-friendly neighborhood of Pocasset. Just a couple of miles south of the Bourne Bridge, this sun-filled home sits on a peaceful peninsula stretching into Buzzards Bay—only 100 yards from a private beach. Whether you’re planning a beach vacation with family or a relaxing getaway with friends, this house has everything you need for an unforgettable stay.

Fully remodeled and thoughtfully expanded in 2018–2019, the house is filled with natural light thanks to more than 20 new windows. Hardwood floors run throughout, and new central A/C units upstairs and down keep the whole space cool and comfortable on hot summer days.

The heart of the home is the open-plan main floor, where you’ll find a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances—perfect for cooking up local seafood or big family breakfasts. The kitchen flows into a dining area with a dry bar and a cozy sitting space for relaxing together after a day at the beach.

Just off the main living area, sliding doors lead to a spacious patio where you can grill dinner, gather around the fire pit, or rinse off the sand in the large outdoor shower. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and room for everyone to enjoy the fresh Cape air.

Downstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms—one with a private shower and sink, and the other with its own bathtub and sink. These two rooms share a nearby half bath (with toilet and sink), making them ideal for extended family or friends traveling together. You’ll also find a laundry room just off the hallway.

Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with sea views, a full en-suite bathroom, and a walk-in closet. Two additional upstairs bedrooms—perfect for kids, cousins, or friends—share a shower room (shower and sink) and a separate half bath (toilet and sink). Between the bedrooms is a cozy play area and an office nook for anyone needing a quiet moment to work or unwind.

Outside, the home is just steps from a private association beach—calm, quiet, and perfect for children thanks to its gentle slope and soft waves. A double tennis court is located right next door, and for those with a small boat (up to 10 feet), the community dinghy dock is available for daytime use. Bassetts Island is just a short boat ride away and offers even more opportunities for beach fun and water sports.

Unique Benefits

When we remodeled our home, we thoughtfully designed it with our grown-up kids—and their friends and future families—in mind.
We wanted to create a space where 10 to 12 people could stay comfortably for a week or more, with just the right balance of private corners to unwind and shared spaces to gather, laugh, and make memories together.

Why Kids Love It

Our garage is filled with water guns, bikes and balls of all sizes for them to play in the ample backyard.
The double tennis court next door is also a hit, so is the Association Beach with its gently slopes

Our Association is located just off Shore Road, a beautiful scenic road from the Bourne Bridge to Falmouth.
This area is also known for its numerous Cramberry fields offering plenty of areas to go for a walk.
