The house is in South Wellfleet on the opposite of Route 6 from Marconi Beach and the Rail Trail. We have never stayed in Wellfleet before. We usually rent in Truro, N. Truro or P town. There are many many good things about this house and our entire rental experience - barring the Nor'Easter. Although that did provide its own form of entertainment and an opportunity to practice resilience and fortitude.The house is very open and very clean. The kitchen is amazingly well appointed. The only thing we use a lot that wasn't there was a food processor. And I would have been surprised if there was one. The owners were very responsive to questions and feedback about some small things that needed attention. They even left us hurricane lamps, rechargeable flash lights and some jugs of water 'just in case' the nor'easter was bad.I cannot say enough about how well stocked the kitchen is. We've never stayed in a place with such a well done, well thought out, well provided kitchen.Despite the weather, we made the best of it. I like to bike so I did the rail trail that was very nearby and went out to Provincetown one day to do the Province Lands trails. We both like to hike and there are plenty of trails to explore, on or near or away from water.Our favorite food was at Mac's Seafood Shack. It was the shrimp and scallop dumplings that made me fall in love. We also ate at the Wicked Oyster, another fabulous restaurant.All in all we highly recommend this location. It is way bigger than 2 of us needed so if you are a big family, this is a great place to stay.Now that we've discovered Wellfleet and explored it we plan to return there instead of Truro or P town.

Spacious modern home which is well maintained and well appointed. We particularly loved the kitchen with premium quality appliances and every accessory an experienced chef would want. Everything was in perfect condition, no chipped crockery, no mis-matched flatware which we've become accustomed to expect in our Cape rentals. Instead, we found complete high-quality matching cookware, crockery, and flatware. The private setting made the evenings quiet and peaceful. We vacationed with our large family and enjoyed the spacious living room, and dining room.
