A new deck was added in 2024, which creates additional usable square footage to enjoy off the living area and master bedroom.
The kitchen has been upgraded to sit four at the newly replaced peninsula with extra storage options under. The cottage has four total beds - a queen in the first bedroom, twin bunk bed in the second bedroom and a full sleeper sofa in the living room. The outdoor space includes a private yard with a table, umbrella and chairs for outdoor dining as well as two chaise lounges to lay out and relax. There is an outdoor shower for use after a day at the beach. Guests may use any of the two adult size bikes and grill for cooking. There are tennis and basketball courts and dock available for use (shared with the village community).
Area Information
Marshmellow is a private cottage in the South Sea Village located at the end of a quiet dirt road sitting on the water's edge of Lewis Pond. It is less than a mile from Rt 28 where there is plenty of shopping, restaurants and other entertainment (ie. mini golf, batting cages, go-carts, water park).

Enjoy a thoughtfully stocked home designed for comfort and fun. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, serving dishes, beverage glassware, an air fryer, and a wine opener—everything you need for easy meals and relaxed evenings. Additional amenities include a portable Bluetooth speaker, four beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach toys, a Pack ’n Play, board games, and puzzles for all ages.
Outdoor living is a highlight, with a dining set and chaise lounge chairs perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Guests also have access to two adult bikes for exploring the area.
Guests can enjoy fishing from the community dock (bring your own rod and tackle), or kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding with their own or rented gear.
Fresh sheets and bath towels are provided for your stay; guests are kindly asked to bring their own comforters/blankets and beach towels.

About the owner: Hi, I’m Robyn! I was born and raised in Massachusetts and am now raising my family here. I spent a few years in Connecticut for college and grad school—where I met my husband—before returning home. We love sharing this special place with guests and hope you have a wonderful stay.
Why this property? Much like you, I enjoy traveling and finding new places to explore. One of my favorite places to visit is Cape Cod. My husband, Matt, and I have grown up vacationing on the Massachusetts shores with our families. We have spent many summers in the saltwater and warm sand. Once we started our own family, we continued the tradition and have been renting in Cape Cod for years with the dream of owning our own place someday. 2020 was our year! We instantly fell in love with the Marshmellow and hope you will too. We look forward to taking our experiences as guest and making this one of your best getaways!
