This property is a conglomerate of several vessels, and Three cottages built inside the natural habitat of Glen cove and its boat ramp providing spectacular entertainment and access to the waters and adventures of the Cape Cod Canal and Buzzards Bay and Martha's vineyard .

Each cottage is available for Vacation rental individually up to its occupancy. For those who wish to accommodate larger parties or multiple houses are encouraged to do so. Accommodating families up to 28 people as each house has a strict occupancy that can’t be exceeded for any reason.

ONE SMALL BATHROOM PER COTTAGE - ALL SALES FINAL - NO PARTIES THROUGH VACATION RENTAL PLATFORM

Rental is for private accommodations to each cottage. Each cottage has great privacy inside, and has a private area outside where the other cottages are not allowed to be. This is best seen looking at one of our MAPS. - Our staff provide maintenance to the resort daily but DON'T go into the cottage's private space. This private space is PRIVATE only to the guests of THAT cottage with no exception.

THE FLAMINGO HOUSE - 12 OCCUPANTS - 2 Twin beds , 3 full queen pull out/futon beds, 2 queen beds - A really nice small private back yard hidden from the rest of the compound. And room for everyone. - Incredible master bedroom views -

THE MERMAID HOUSE- 8 OCCUPANTS - 3 queen pull out / futon beds, 1 King bed, 1 HUGE couch - GIANT GLASS WINDOW WALL in the living room with incredible views, Theatre and surround sound in every room, Central air, Dish washer, Updated and recently renovated, on demand hot water heater, and an amazing deck with a 50” tv and outdoor kitchen.

THE CRAB HOUSE - 8 OCCUPANTS - 3 twin Beds, 2 Queen pull out / futon beds, 1 Queen Bed - OLD SCHOOL BEACH COTTAGE FROM THE EARLY 1800s - AC in every room (little insulation) Surround Sound throughout Cottage, and the BEST outdoor area in cape cod with a private fire pit, Outdoor kitchen, and dinner table area.

And the Natural Habitat that is The Onset Beach Compound. Here we have fox, mice, gulls and dozens of other amazing birds and ducks, shellfish, large and small fish and federally protected spartina grass in front of The Flamingo house that not only provides great privacy from the boat ramp but is a SPECTACLE during high tides. If you leave food out, you will be visited by some sort of animal we can almost promise. Each cottage has zip lock bags, tin foil, plastic wrap and containers for this purpose.

The water touches the floor boards of these homes every year at least once - Hence the maintenance budget ;) but please take a look at our socials and website to see some of the obstacles mother nature dances with us to.

We work 365 days a year to keep the resort open every single one of them.
The hot tub is READY 365 and is maintained reactively - communication is key ( we drain and refill with light chlorine)
Kilians locker is always open and ready BUT weather permitting especially because of hyperthermia. The #PlayHere -road & Parks Trailer is always open and the E bikes are always charged and tuned up ready for our guests.
The OBC landing and row boats etc are available and kept ready throughout the winter. Many of the kicker motors have gone into service - but with a proper heads up the host can accommodate for your planned adventure.

KAYAKS, ROW BOATS, PEDAL BOATS, SKIFF BOATS, E-BIKES,4 PERSON DISNEY QUAD BIKE, BEACH GAMES, PARK & PLAYGROUND GAMES, GRILLE AND FIRE PIT PROPANE CYLINDERS, SHEETS & LINENS, SUN SCREEN, AND LOTION, BODY WASH, CONDITIONER, SHAMPOO, ETC ALL INCLUSIVE AND PROVIDED (Our blankets are NOT high quality because they are so hard to launder. We have durable lightweight comforter blankets. Just request a true comforter. We try to keep them for the people who care for them. Pictured in listings are what comes normally without any special requests)

Unique Benefits

Being built within the sea shore by roughly 40 feet each cottage is legitimately inches above sea level. Being able to immerse into the beauty of the compound's private beach or taking a stroll up the water line to the “main beach” that is less than .02 miles away. Utilizing our kayaks to explore the public wickets island or a pedal boat adventure to catch a sunrise. The idea of the OBC is you check in, and you don’t leave again in your car until its check out time. The village is .02 miles away , Buzzards bay village is about 1 mile away. A great bike ride for the E-bikes that have a 40 mile range and travel at 20 MPH. Utilizing the Cape cod Canal Bike path is a daily agenda for OBC guests.
Being able to utilize the Hosts for Boat rentals, Charters, and jetski adventures is a huge thing our returning guests compliment us on.

Why Kids Love It

All the games! Each cottage is full of what we call “Experience packages”
Each package is a custom made “package” in some sort of apparatus. May it be a box, bag, bucket, or treasure chest our staff has custom compiled this box with instructions and fun corky playful ideas and activities for the children to enjoy while guests at the resort. The Experience packages are updated as times go, as many are designed for the children to take home. (like action figures and art projects etc) - in the warmer months the hosts focus on outdoor activities and “rain day activities” for the rainy days.
The resort also has
A nintendo switch with 8 controllers, Xbox X with 5 controllers, Playstation 3, and a steering wheel and brake/gas pedal for the xbox. (all by request as they are kept outside the cottages inside plastic containers)
