Harwich is a quaint little town on the Cape that you will want to have on your radar the next time you are planning a trip! Harwich and Harwich Port are both great places to visit for sandy beaches, great restaurants, fun events and a lively nightlife.

Cape Sea Grill

If you are looking for phenomenal seafood, atmosphere and service this should be your top pick for dinner next time you are in Harwich Port. The food here is excellent. The drinks are handcrafted and creatively concocted. There is a cozy bar area along with a beautiful more formal dining room and some covered outdoor seating. They have something for everyone. The restaurant is tucked away on a back street with some great views. You will not want to miss this gem. 

Cape Cod Lavender Farm

The lavender farm is open and free to visit March-December. The farm is surrounded by conservation land with woodland walking trails. This family owned farm boasts over 7,000 plants on 11 secluded acres. There is so much natural beauty to be seen here and a shop to stop in on the way out!

First Crush Winery

This delicious winery has one of the best tasting rooms in the area. They are open Tuesday-Sunday and on Sunday they offer wine slushies, tastings, cheese plates and more!

Brooks Academy Museum

This private, non-profit organization has a mission to preserve history through exhibits, education and research amongst other things. They are home to the Cape’s largest cranberry culture exhibit and so much of Harwich’s history. This one is a must-visit for some fun and great learning!

Cranberry Bog Tours

This organic cranberry bog offers seasonal tours. Cape Cod is known for its cranberries, so what could be more fun than to actually see how they are grown and harvested? They offer tours in the spring, summer and fall and also have a great farm stand to check out with fresh eggs and so much more!

Brax Landing Restaurant

This laid back spot has amazing water views and great seafood. This is a flip flops and picnic tables kind of place. The food is fresh, local and unbeatable!

Cape Cod Theatre Company

This premier multi-generational theater has a mission to empower students to be rising stars in the arts. They are an important part of the community and offer some great shows. Make sure to check their calendar online the next time you are in town!
